New provisions protecting Quebecer’s privacy

On September 22, 2022, certain provisions of the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards to the protection of personal information, also known as Bill 25, came into force. This reform modernizes the rules protecting personal information in Québec so that it is better adapted to the new challenges posed by the current digital and technological environment, for every business, every public body, and every citizen.
